I am a Marriage & Family Therapist Registered Intern specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Orlando, FL.
With over 3 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, I specializes in an eclectic style of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Bowen Family Systems, Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are substance abuse and recovery, domestic violence, relational issues, anger and stress management, and LGBT issues.
In addition to being a systemically oriented therapist, I have published a paper on Social Stress and Visual Spatial Memory during my graduate studies at Nova Southeastern University. I have also previously worked in inpatient psychiatric facilities, substance abuse and recovery facilities, and brief therapy organizations.
I consider myself an interactive, collaborative, and eclectic therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
