LuAnn Pierce is a licensed clinical social worker who has worked in the field of mental health and social services for more than 25 years. She has enhanced the lives of thousands over the years, including children, adults and families. LuAnn began her career in the field of child abuse and neglect where she worked with kids and teens in residential care. After that, she worked with women who were survivors of domestic abuse and their children.
LuAnn began her work in the field of mental health therapy in the mid-90s. She has practiced in private and community mental health centers, and her own private counseling practice. Additionally, LuAnn has provided therapy, consulting and training for many non-profit and government agencies over the years.
Currently, LuAnn offers psychotherapy services at Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network a few days per week. She also works with the CO-WY Chapter of National MS Society as a therapist, care manager and support group facilitator. LuAnn previously worked in the national office of the MS Society for several years. She developed their Relationship Matters program for couples living with MS during that time. Today she continues to work as a consultant with the national office to train self-help group leaders. Additionally, LuAnn offers training and other short-term direct services to chapters and regions of the MS Society via telephone, webinars and video-conferencing.
LuAnn is available to provide online therapy to people in Colorado and Wyoming. She provides coaching, consultation, training, advocacy and other direct services to individuals, groups, families and agencies throughout the US using web-based and teleconferencing technology.
